ServiceNow Developer – NTT Data (Hybrid)

About the Role
NTT Data is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on development experience, understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes, and the ability to work closely with technical and functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, Discovery, Asset, and Incident/Problem/Change.
• Develop custom applications, UI policies, UI actions, UI pages, Client Scripts, Business Rules, and Script Includes.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and integration tools.
• Implement Workflow Editor, Flow Designer, and Orchestration features.
• Maintain and enhance Service Catalog items, workflows, and forms.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and ensure platform stability and performance.
• Participate in upgrades, patching, and ensuring smooth migrations.
• Implement ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Maintain CMDB data integrity and support Discovery and Service Mapping.
• Prepare design documents, technical specs, and test cases.
Required Skills & Experience
• 6–9 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, Glide API, HTML/CSS, and AngularJS.
• Expertise in ITSM module; knowledge of ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, HAM/SAM preferred.
• Experience in ServiceNow Integrations (REST/SOAP).
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes.
• Experience with Flow Designer, Orchestration, Service Portal, and Catalog Development.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow Security, ACLs, roles, and user administration.
• Experience with ServiceNow upgrades and maintaining development lifecycle environments.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment.
Good to Have
• ServiceNow CSA, CAD, or CIS certifications (ITSM/Discovery/CMDB).
• Experience in Performance Analytics, Reporting, and Dashboard development.
• Knowledge of Service Mapping and Event Management.
• Experience with DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow.
