Senior ServiceNow Developer Lead / Platform Engineering Lead

Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite/week)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer Lead / Platform Engineering Lead who is deeply hands-on and capable of architecting, building, and leading enterprise ServiceNow solutions end-to-end.

This is not a ServiceNow admin or super-user role.

This is a 50% hands-on development / 50% solution architecture & technical leadership position.

You will lead by doing, making design decisions, writing code, guiding engineers, and owning delivery from concept through production.

What the Client Is Looking For (Must-Haves)

✅ 10+ years of hands-on ServiceNow platform development

• ITSM

• ITAM

• CMDB

(ITOM, SecOps, GRC are strong pluses)

✅ Proven experience leading a technical team through the full SDLC

(Leadership ≠ people management)

✅ Strong ability to design and architect ServiceNow solutions, then lead the team through implementation

✅ Recent, hands-on coding experience

• Custom integrations

• Platform customizations

• Complex workflows and solutions
