We are looking for a ServiceNow Technical Specialist on contract for one of our banking clients in Toronto.
Client: Bank
Location: Toronto, 2 days a week onsite
Duration: 6 months
Key Responsibilities:
• Configure, optimize, and maintain ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB.
• Ensure accurate CI identification, classification, and relationship mapping.
• Troubleshoot Discovery patterns, probes, sensors, and integration issues.
• Support CMDB governance, data quality improvements, and reconciliation.
• Work with stakeholders to understand infrastructure components and service dependencies.
• Implement updates, enhancements, and fixes following best practices.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and configuration standards.
Must-Haves:
• 5+ years of experience working with ServiceNow, specifically CMDB and Discovery.
• Strong understanding of CIs, relationships, infrastructure components, and Discovery architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Discovery probes, sensors, patterns, and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of ITSM processes and service dependencies.
• Technical experience with scripting (JavaScript), integrations (REST/SOAP), and platform configuration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to be onsite every Monday and 2nd Friday of each month.
