Website Hayward Hawk

Hayward Hawk Technology are working with a major international organisation that’s doubling down on digital transformation — and they’re building out their ServiceNow capability in a big way.

They’re now looking for a ServiceNow Junior Admin / Junior Developer to join a growing team. This is a brilliant role for someone early in their career who wants proper exposure to enterprise-scale ServiceNow, modern ITSM/ITOM, and hands-on development work. If you’ve dabbled in ServiceNow, know your way around JavaScript/Glide basics, and want a place where you’ll learn fast — this is the one.

The Role

You’ll work closely with experienced ServiceNow developers and platform owners to support, build and improve the platform. Expect a good mix of admin tasks, configuration, scripting, troubleshooting and team-based delivery.

What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting configuration and customisation across ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, SAM, SecOps and more).
• Getting stuck into catalog items, workflows, UI policies, business rules, and client/server scripts.
• Helping with user admin, access, and general platform upkeep.
• Jumping in on Agile ceremonies and contributing to enhancements, fixes and new features.
• Troubleshooting issues and working with senior devs to solve platform problems.
• Learning ServiceNow best practices, building out your scripting skills and supporting integrations with other systems.
• Taking part in release upgrades and testing new features.

What We’re Looking For We’re not expecting someone with years of experience — we’re looking for someone hungry to grow.

Ideally, you’ll bring:
• 1–3 years’ experience in IT support, system admin or basic application development.
• Some exposure to ServiceNow (through work, internships, projects or certifications).
• Basic understanding of JavaScript, Glide scripting or general programming logic.
• A grasp of ITIL concepts and how service management works.
• Curiosity, problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn quickly.
• Strong communication and a bit of confidence working with technical and non-technical people.
• CSA certification or working towards it is a bonus — not essential.
• Familiarity with APIs, JSON, Agile/Scrum, or integrations is a plus.

Why This Role?
• Proper hands-on training from senior ServiceNow engineers.
• Great competitive Salary!
• Exposure to enterprise-scale ITSM and modern cloud-focused transformation.
• A global organisation with massive growth behind it.
• A genuinely supportive culture with strong career progression.
• Hybrid working with flexibility built in.
• For this vacancy, we’re only able to consider applicants who have full, unrestricted right to work in the UK, as sponsorship cannot be provided *
