Position Summary:

PETADATA is seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Senior Architect to lead the architecture and design of enterprise ServiceNow solutions. This is an onsite opportunity in Austin, TX, and requires a candidate with exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills-especially within financial domain environments.

The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic advisor and technical lead, working closely with business stakeholders, executives, and technical teams to deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the ServiceNow platform architecture strategy, planning, and implementation across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with financial business teams and C-level executives to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and architect robust and scalable ServiceNow solutions that align with financial industry best practices, compliance, and audit controls.
• Drive enterprise-wide ServiceNow initiatives, including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CMDB, GRC, and custom app development.
• Provide technical leadership in the design, development, and integration of ServiceNow with third-party systems.
• Define architectural standards, frameworks, and governance models.
• Perform impact analysis of new requirements and enhancements on existing systems.
• Oversee platform health, upgrades, security configurations, performance optimization, and version management.
• Collaborate with ServiceNow developers and implementation teams to ensure delivery excellence.
• Mentor junior architects and developers and promote ServiceNow best practices.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, solution blueprints, and roadmaps.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of ServiceNow experience, with at least 3+ years in an Architect or Lead role.
• Strong expertise across ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, GRC, and Financial Services Operations (FSO), is a plus.
• Proven track record of architecting ServiceNow solutions in the financial or banking domain.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills-able to engage directly with business executives.
• Experience with integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and other API technologies.
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, scripting (JavaScript), workflow customization, and UI policies.
• ServiceNow certifications: Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or Certified Technical Architect preferred.
• Strong documentation skills and experience presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum delivery models.
• Knowledge of security protocols and ServiceNow security models.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines in ServiceNow environments.
• Financial reporting, audit, and compliance knowledge relevant to ServiceNow implementations.

Work Environment:
• This role is 100% onsite in Austin, TX, Monday to Friday.
• Must be available to attend in-person meetings and workshops with executives and key stakeholders.

Contract Duration:
• 6 Months (Possibility of extension based on project needs and performance)
