Key responsibilities

Product backlog management (80%): Define and maintain product backlogs. Collaborate with BAs, architects, SMEs, and business owners. Develop product roadmap, epics, features, and user stories. Set acceptance criteria and approve/reject deliverables. Accountable for product success.

Guidance & coaching (10%): Mentor BAs on breaking down MVP into user stories. Support Scrum Master in grooming sessions. Engage stakeholders and educate on product details.

Agility & culture change (10%): Promote Agile practices and team development. Mentor other Product Owners.

Required qualifications

Education:

Bachelor s in Product Management, IT, Engineering, or related field

OR 4 extra years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

Experience:

6+ years in IT/business analysis, development, or systems design

OR 4+ years as a Product Owner

Preferred:

Healthcare experience

Advanced degree

Skills:

Strong knowledge of business principles, project planning, lifecycle development

Advanced MS Office skills

Excellent communication and problem-solving

Certifications:

Certified Scrum Product Owner (Preferred)

Technical Focus:

ServiceNow (CSM, ITSM, CRM modules )

Vision-focused leader who can drive ServiceNow transformation.

Comfortable with Agile/Scrum and mentoring others.
