Job Description –
The ServiceNow Architect (SPM & Discovery) will lead the design, implementation, and governance of solutions within the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) Discovery modules. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, deep technical expertise, and leadership skills to translate complex business needs into scalable, efficient, and well-governed ServiceNow solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect end-to-end solutions for SPM (Demand, Project, Resource, Portfolio, Financial Management) and Discovery modules.
• Develop and optimize the CMDB and CSDM strategy, including designing Discovery patterns, probes, and sensors for various environments.
• Implement SPM solutions to align IT with business objectives.
• Design and oversee the integration of ServiceNow with other systems using various APIs and IntegrationHub.
• Provide technical leadership, enforce best practices, and ensure platform governance.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical designs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to configurations, integrations, and performance.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience: 8+ years in ServiceNow design and implementation, with experience as an Architect.
• Technical Expertise:
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture.
• Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide APIs, etc.).
• Proficiency in Discovery configuration and pattern development.
• Strong knowledge of CMDB/CSDM principles.
• Certifications (Preferred): Relevant ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS,
(ITOM Discovery/SPM), and CTA are preferred or highly desirable.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $68.00 – $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
