Job Summary: Security Management Specialist with ServiceNow Vulnerability Management
Location: Manassas, VA
• Report to the Global Security department and support enterprise vulnerability management initiatives.
• Define, implement, and enforce vulnerability management and patching policies for on-premises infrastructure using ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Module.
• Conduct vulnerability identification, analysis, and impact assessment considering both base and environmental factors.
• Perform severity assessments and prioritize remediation of software vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with partner teams for ServiceNow onboarding, provide support, and troubleshoot vulnerability management issues.
• Analyze existing security architecture; recommend and implement improved policies and procedures.
• Identify, coordinate, and implement solutions to enhance security automation and integration.
• Query, analyze, and report on large data sets to identify potential security risks.
• Ensure security and compliance of the organization’s infrastructure through moderately complex projects.
• Utilize professional-level skills in data analysis, risk management, process design, remediation tracking, and communication.
• Demonstrate effective teamwork and collaboration across different time zones.
• Apply knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB and Vulnerability Response, with junior-level experience in threat management and vulnerability scanning.
