We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead the design, development, customization, and optimization of the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, and related modules, and be able to design scalable solutions that streamline workflows and enhance organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities to expand and optimize ServiceNow implementations.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom applications, modules, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform.
• Configure ServiceNow ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request), Knowledge, Service Catalog, CMDB, and other modules as needed.
• Develop dashboards, portals, workflows, UI policies, client scripts, and scheduled jobs.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs and MID servers.
• Collaborate with process owners, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and compliance with platform best practices.
• Support platform upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
• Provide technical documentation, user guides, and support during testing and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve configuration, scripting, and integration issues.
Qualifications
• 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong expertise with ITSM, CMDB, and Service Catalog modules.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, ServiceNow Studio, and scripting.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, Basic Auth, etc.).
• Familiarity with Flow Designer, Service Portal, and Automation Engine.
• Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices for ServiceNow.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
