ServiceNow Training Specialist

Our work depends on a Training Specialist joining our team to design and develop training programs using proven adult learning methodologies and techniques. This includes designing and developing engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and knowledge transfer. HOW A TRAINING SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
• Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific training projects
• Provides solutions to a variety of training programs of moderate scope and complexity
• Plans and designs instructional methods and materials
• Identifies and recommends training and design solutions to develop program management curricula/programs.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts to identify audience’s training needs
• Identifies best method of training delivery based upon training needs
• Creates instructional goals and content that supports goals by applying tested instructional design theories, practice, and methods
• Designs visual aids (audio, video, simulations, e-learning modules, role plays, games, tests, etc)
• Conducts on-site and/or in-house training classes, seminars, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises and discussion groups for customers and/or employees
• Develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities
• Coordinates the development of measurement tools to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction or training interventions
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant training and technology as assigned
• Stays abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or 2+ years related experience can be used as substitute
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of related training experience with adult learning methodologies
• Proficient communication skills in writing and verbal, problem solving, interpersonal skills., training delivery and design using various tools such as MS PowerPoint, or eLearning software. Delivery of classes to participants – proficient presentation skills
• Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust
• ServiceNow Fundamentals certification, preferred
• ServiceNow knowledge of Security Operations and Integrated Risk Management, preferred
