ServiceNow Technical Lead
£65,000 – £75,000 plus bonus and benefits

As part of their ongoing global transformation, this company is looking to strengthen its team and are looking for a ServiceNow Technical Lead to help ensure the continued success and integrity of their initiatives. As their ServiceNow Technical Lead you will oversee, review and govern changes made to their global ServiceNow platform. This role requires a combination of strong technical depth, platform governance knowledge, and stakeholder engagement skills. You’ll ensure the platform evolves in a risk-managed, value-driven way with business impact always in focus.
Responsibilities for the role of ServiceNow Technical Lead:
• Actively support the Change and Release management processes by providing expertise in the application and business processes
• Assess changes as needed and give feedback on change documents and to governance forums
• Engage with process owners to help them understand technical changes and provide input or approval
• Work closely with the AMS partner to suggest additions to the list of standard ServiceNow changes
• QA all solutions before they are delivered to the production environment
• Provide guidance to 3rd parties supporting or developing the application to help minimise errors
• Assist 3rd party support teams during significant incidents or problems
• Support management information (MI) processes when required
• Work with project teams so they understand how the application is managed, ensuring compliance and reducing risk
Skills and experience require for the role of ServiceNow Technical Lead:
• Solid ServiceNow IT development/configuration experience in a large international organisation.
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow application development, configuration, and integration.
• Understanding of IT General Controls and governance best practices.
• Strong stakeholder management skills – able to influence and engage senior leadership.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of explaining complex technical matters in simple terms.
